Area Manager - Australia & New Zealand

Biamp Systems, a leading manufacturer of professional electronics for use in the installed audio market, based in Portland, Oregon, USA, is currently recruiting for a new Area Sales Manager for Australia and New Zealand.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing all elements of the business relationship between Biamp and its distributor and integrators.
  • Predicting and Meeting the sales targets and forecasts as for the region and having a clear understanding of how the forecast will be delivered and what the regional / national market trends are that could influence this.
  • Maintaining, refining and, when necessary, changing the currently set-up Biamp distribution network within the region.
  • Training both distributors and dealers on all aspects of Biamp’s equipment, its functions and its uses, with special emphasis on the Tesira, Vocia, Audia and Nexia Digital Audio Platforms.
  • Giving sales and technical presentations directly to consultants and key end-users in the region.
  • Giving Biamp feedback, both technical and commercial, from customers in the region.
  • Manning trade show booths both in USA and in the region, where appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience in the South Asia-Pacific professional audio marketplace including contacts with key distributors and dealers in the region.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with Biamp’s distributor, integrators and end users.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (other language skills desirable).
  • Ability to give both technical and sales presentations to any level of attendee, from company presidents down.
  • Strong self-motivation to allow efficient work in a location remote from the company’s headquarters.

    The successful applicant will be based in Australia. The position requires extensive travel within the region as well as 2-3 trips to USA per year. The Area Sales Manager reports to the Asia-Pacific Regional Director.

Area Manager - Northern Illinois

BIAMP Systems is looking for an Area Manager who is experienced in achieving sales forecasts. Making sales calls calling on the identified integrators, consultants, and end users, in both the AV and IT spaces will not be foreign to the right candidate. This individual will also possess the ability to develop and manage a new sales channel for recently launched platforms like our Vocia product line. Demonstrating great communications skills with their past managers will be a must.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing all elements of the business relationship between Biamp and its integrators
  • Maintaining, refining and, when necessary, changing the currently set-up Biamp distribution network

Area Manager - West India

BIAMP Systems is looking for an Area Manager for West India who is experienced in achieving sales forecasts. Making sales calls calling on the identified integrators, consultants, architects, MEP firms and end users, in both the AV and IT spaces will not be foreign to the right candidate. This individual will also possess and have demonstrated the ability to develop and manage new key end user accounts in strategic verticals. Demonstrating great communications skills with their past superiors will be a must.

Responsibilities include:

  • Displaying a high level of solution, vertical and product understanding and experience in Biamp domain areas.

Embedded Software Engineer - Audio & Conferencing

Biamp is currently looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to support and contribute to the engineering team. The primary responsibilities will be to design, implement, test, debug, and maintain embedded software for networked digital audio processing equipment and related accessory products. Qualified candidates will be organized, analytical thinkers with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyze new product functional requirements to determine required data structures and behaviors
  • Create written documentation for software designs using UML
  • Design and implement software modules using C++, object oriented modeling, and standard design patterns and techniques
  • Define test cases and write test automation which effectively validate module designs
  • Work with desktop software developers to ensure interoperability between software and embedded software components

EMEA Sales Development Director

The Sales Development Director is primarily focused on identifying and implementing new market opportunities, channel partnerships, and strategic key client relationships. The Director will work closely with the VP of Global Sales to develop sales strategies and go-to-market plans that provide the company a competitive advantage. The Director will develop sales campaigns and deliverables with the objective to maximize the company’s internal and external sale forces effectiveness and throughput.

During the sales process, the Director will be required to identify attractive prospects and secure initial meetings with key individuals and decision-makers. The Director should be able to apply a consultative solution-sales approach and tailor presentations and conversations to the specific needs of the individual prospects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Recruit and hire the best talent available to lead the company to capture the opportunities available to it, not just in the present, but in the next 3-5 years beyond today. Develop people beyond what they are currently capable of.
  • Provide a close connection and facilitate a liaison between the company, the Global Sales Team, distribution partners, integrators and clients. Biamp Systems is seeking a General Accountant to perform the general accounting tasks within Biamp systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and entry of month end journals for US and international Biamp companies
  • Produce consolidated financial statements for review by management
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis
  • Maintain the companies fixed asset tracking system
  • Produce ad hoc financial analysis as required

Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP System - Technology Specialist

Biamp is currently looking for an experienced Dynamics AX Specialist to support and contribute to the ERP development team. The primary responsibilities will be to design, implement, test, debug, and maintain .net solutions to enhance and extend the ERP system.   • Triaging and analyzing DAX ERP Issues as identified by end-users of the system

PCBA Lead - Troubleshooting Technician

The PCBA Lead - Troubleshooting Technician contributes individual skills and expertise in the Troubleshooting and Repair area while also acting as a more experienced resource to other staff working in their assigned area. Handles higher level tasks within their assigned team and acts as a focal point for continuous improvement of processes and procedures.

PCBA Repair Technician

The PCBA Repair Technician is responsible for the repair of digital and analog audio printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA’s) to Class 2 (or better) IPC Standards by replacing surface mount and through-hole components, including fine pitch and ball grid array devices.

Essential Functions:

    Removal and replacement of all types of PCBA components to Class 2 or better IPC Standards
  • Complete material movement transactions in DAX shop floor control system
  • Accurately record defect causes and rework performed in quality records database

Secondary Functions:

  • Visually inspect PCBA’s and other product hardware
  • Test basic PCBA’s per established process

PCBA Troubleshooting Technician

The PCBA Troubleshooting Technician determines the source(s) of failure on printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA’s) deemed defective by electrical tests performed as part of the manufacturing process.

Essential Functions:

    Troubleshoot digital and analog circuits down to the component level and specify needed repairs/rework
  • Complete material movement transactions in DAX shop floor control system
  • Accurately record defect causes in quality records database

Production Lead - Assembly

The Production Lead contributes individual skills and expertise in daily production while also acting as a more experienced resource to other production staff working in their assigned area. The Production Lead contributes individual skills and expertise in daily production while also acting as a more experienced resource to other production staff working in their assigned area. Production Supervisor - Assembly

The Production Supervisor plans, systematizes, and manages the work of the day shift production personnel in the assigned area, monitoring the quality of the products, the productivity of the processes exercised, and the output of the group.

Essential Functions include:

  • Schedule and organize the work flow of production personnel
  • Monitor product quality and process productivity, implementing methods of continuous improvement to reach established goals

Regional Manager - Northwest North America

Biamp Systems, a leading manufacturer of professional electronics for use in the installed audio market, based in Portland, Oregon, USA, is currently recruiting for a new Regional Manager in the Northwest North America region.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing all elements of the business relationship between Biamp and its distributors and dealers.
  • Maintaining, refining and, when necessary, changing the currently set-up Biamp distribution network within the region.
  • Managing and leading Independent Representatives to successfully meet the sales goals in their respective territories.
  • Training integrators, consultants, and end-users on all aspects of Biamp’s equipment, its functions and its uses, with special emphasis on the Tesira, Vocia, Audia and Nexia Digital Audio Platforms.
  • Giving sales and technical presentations direct to consultants, key end-users, MEP firms and architects in the region.
  • Giving Biamp feedback, both technical and commercial, from customers in the region.
  • Manning trade show booths, where appropriate.
  • The Region includes Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Alaska, Hawaii, Northern Nevada and Northern California, and Western Canada including British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience working with audio DSP especially system design using software.
  • Computer networking experience (preferably including audio networking).
  • Experience in the professional audio marketplace including contacts with integrators.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with Biamp’s integrators.
  • Success at managing people.
  • Ability to give both technical and sales presentations to any level of attendee, from company presidents down.
  • Strong self-motivation to allow efficient work in a location remote from the company’s headquarters

Responsibilities include:

  • Follow written job specifications to determine machine calibration, materials required, and proper machine setup
  • Operate Punch Press, Press Brake, and/or Hardware insertion machine
  • Follow established safety guidelines in the operation machines and usage of protective gear
