Consultant Liaison - Germany

BIAMP Systems is looking for a Consultant Liaison for Germany who is experienced in the design and communication of digital audio/video products in the corporate, government, and education vertical markets. The Consultant Liaison will act as a counselor both to new and existing contacts in the market. Calls focused on consultants, and both existing and potential end users, in the AV and IT spaces will not be foreign to the right candidate. This individual will also possess the ability to communicate and assist in designing to those consultants and end users involved in the paging vertical develop for our Vocia product line in close relationship with Biamp’s local distributor. Demonstrating great communication skills with their past superiors will be a must.

Responsibilities include:

  • Giving presentations of Biamp and the solutions on consultants and end- users.
  • Setting Biamp as the standard communication platform for commercial clients.
  • Frequently visiting Integrators together with the Distributor if required.
  • Discussing the local sales strategy with Biamp’s distributor and the responsible Regional Manager.
  • Training consultants and End Users on all aspects of Biamp’s equipment, its functions and its uses, with special emphasis on the Tesira, Audia and Nexia Digital Audio. Platforms as well as our Vocia Critical Paging System.
  • Giving non-technical feature based presentations on benefits, ROI and TCO of Biamp solutions.
  • Building our clients confidence to our networked based Vocia Critical Paging System.
  • Giving Biamp feedback, both technical and commercial, from customers.
  • Manning trade show booths where appropriate.
  • Helping our marketing department with developing German language literature.
  • Being the “Voice of Biamp” in one of our longest settled distribution markets.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience in the professional conferencing/audio marketplace including contacts with key consultants and end users in the region.
  • Further knowledge in Video-, Networking- and Control- systems highly desired.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with Biamp’s clients.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to give both technical and sales presentations.
  • Good computer skills, including working knowledge of the MS Office suite (including PowerPoint) as well as preferably audio DSP unit ‘drag and drop’ software and CAD programs.
  • Good basic technical audio knowledge.

    The position requires extensive travel within Germany. occasional travel to US or non- German trade shows will be required. The German Consultant Liaison reports to the Regional Manager Central Europe.

Embedded Software Engineer - Audio & Conferencing

Biamp is currently looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to support and contribute to the engineering team. The primary responsibilities will be to design, implement, test, debug, and maintain embedded software for networked digital audio processing equipment and related accessory products. Qualified candidates will be organized, analytical thinkers with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyze new product functional requirements to determine required data structures and behaviors
  • Create written documentation for software designs using UML
  • Design and implement software modules using C++, object oriented modeling, and standard design patterns and techniques
  • Define test cases and write test automation which effectively validate module designs
  • Work with desktop software developers to ensure interoperability between software and embedded software components
  • Work with Software Quality Assurance and Technical Support to investigate and correct reported system behavioral abnormalities

EMEA Sales Development Director

The Sales Development Director is primarily focused on identifying and implementing new market opportunities, channel partnerships, and strategic key client relationships. The Director will work closely with the VP of Global Sales to develop sales strategies and go-to-market plans that provide the company a competitive advantage. The Director will develop sales campaigns and deliverables with the objective to maximize the company’s internal and external sale forces effectiveness and throughput.

During the sales process, the Director will be required to identify attractive prospects and secure initial meetings with key individuals and decision-makers. The Director should be able to apply a consultative solution-sales approach and tailor presentations and conversations to the specific needs of the individual prospects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Recruit and hire the best talent available to lead the company to capture the opportunities available to it, not just in the present, but in the next 3-5 years beyond today. Develop people beyond what they are currently capable of.
  • Provide a close connection and facilitate a liaison between the company, the Global Sales Team, distribution partners, integrators and clients. ERP Business Analyst

Biamp is currently looking for an experienced ERP Business Analyst to support and contribute to the ERP development team. Qualified candidates will be organized, analytical thinkers with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Manufacturing Systems Analyst

Biamp Systems is seeing a Manufacturing Systems Analyst to work collaboratively to develop and optimize the systems, software, and processes that support manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement of end-to-end systems and processes and be accountable for the overall quality of manufacturing data systems at Biamp.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute an end-to-end plan for optimizing BIAMP’s data systems in support of manufacturing processes and operational objectives
  • Investigate new software and identify opportunities to lead manufacturing process improvements
  • Work cross-functionally to resolve all quality and performance issues related to BIAMP’s production software systems
  • Stay current on all Dynamics AX (DAX) -related issues, developments, and upgrades
  • Drive systems and process improvements by applying lean principals
  • Prepare technical documentation for development of DAX and other production systems in accordance with manufacturing goals
  • Manage projects related to the development and enhancement of software functions that support manufacturing processes. Identify roadblocks and keep stakeholders up-to-date on projects’ statuses and priorities

This is a key position, responsible for ensuring our production scheduler is communicated across our functional teams.   • Back-up ECO representative for Planning Department
    1. Responsible for reviewing and maintaining effectivity dates based on material consumption or other factors as described in ECO

  • Analyze, review and ensure material is available for all levels of factory based on production plan and communicate any potential shortages

Regional Manager - Northwest North America

Biamp Systems, a leading manufacturer of professional electronics for use in the installed audio market, based in Portland, Oregon, USA, is currently recruiting for a new Regional Manager in the Northwest North America region.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing all elements of the business relationship between Biamp and its distributors and dealers.
  • Maintaining, refining and, when necessary, changing the currently set-up Biamp distribution network within the region.
  • Managing and leading Independent Representatives to successfully meet the sales goals in their respective territories.
  • Training integrators, consultants, and end-users on all aspects of Biamp’s equipment, its functions and its uses, with special emphasis on the Tesira, Vocia, Audia and Nexia Digital Audio Platforms.

Sheet Metal Machine Operator - Swing Shift

Biamp Systems is looking for a Sheet Metal Machine Operator to operate the press brake, punch press, and other metal forming machines for the creation of BIAMP products.

Responsibilities include:

  • Follow written job specifications to determine machine calibration, materials required, and proper machine setup
  • Operate Punch Press, Press Brake, and/or Hardware insertion machine
  • Follow established safety guidelines in the operation machines and usage of protective gear
  • Inspect completed parts to ensure compliance with Biamp quality and dimensional standards
  • Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction
  • Ensure proper safety procedures are followed
  • Stack, mark, pack, and transport finished work pieces
  • Recycle and dispose of scrap materials
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area
  • Perform routine maintenance of machine
  • Participate in continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing activities

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent desired

Software Development Engineer - Client Applications

The Client-Side Software Development Engineer, who will be located in Beaverton, OR, is responsible for defining, designing and creating applications for web browsers and mobile clients. In addition to development skills, general engineering and team work skills are highly desired.

Responsibilities include:

  • Write web software using current technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Collaborate with server-side team members to develop effective APIs and client interfaces for system data

Technical Projects Manager - Middle East

The Technical Projects Manager, Middle East, will assist Biamp customers with technical matters globally, but will prioritize the needs of customers or projects located in the Middle East. The Technical Projects Manager will be expected to take leadership in becoming the point of technical reference for all matters that concern Biamp equipment and its interface with third-party products for projects in the Middle Eastern region, from their inception to completion. In addition, he/she will be available on the phone or e-mail to help resolve product or design problems, provide technical guidance, training and creating technical documentation.

The position will require daily interaction with Biamp customers, consultants, and sales representatives dealing with a variety of complex technical issues. The Technical Projects Manager, Middle East, position will involve travel to customer locations throughout the Middle East for design, training, commissioning, and troubleshooting assistance. Travel to Biamp’s factory in Beaverton, Oregon, will also be required. The candidate should live or be willing to relocate to Dubai, the UK or Germany, and be able to work from home with minimal supervision. If based in the UK or Germany, frequent travel to the Middle East will be required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshoot product and design difficulties over the phone, in person and via email
  • Be the point of contact for all technical queries for regional customers
  • Assist with the design of complex systems
  • Conduct customer training
  • Provide input and guidance for the creation of technical documentation
  • Conduct beta testing of new products
  • Onsite visits to troubleshoot and assist Biamp customers
  • Assist with product set-up and staging at tradeshows

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience providing audio technical support, audio design and/or audio equipment set-up
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in Arabic
  • Good technical presentation and training skills
  • A serious and enthusiastic desire to provide reliable customer service and technical expertise
  • Experience with computer, audio, and AV networking
  • Advanced knowledge of audio DSP technology
  • Good computer and networking skills including working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Able to travel within Middle Eastern region, Europe and USA
