Applications Engineer - Europe
European Applications Engineer
The European Applications Engineer will assist customers with technical questions, product and design problems, technical training, and occasional site visits. The position will require daily interaction with Biamp customers, consultants, and sales representatives dealing with a variety of complex technical issues. The European applications engineer position will involve travel to customer locations throughout Europe for training, commissioning, and troubleshooting assistance. This candidate should live or be willing to relocate to the UK or Germany and be near a major transportation hub.
Responsibilities include:
- Troubleshoot product and design difficulties over the phone and via email
- Conduct customer training
- Provide input and guidance for the creation of operations manuals for new products
- Conduct beta testing of new products

- Assist with product set-up and staging at tradeshows
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience providing audio technical support, audio design and audio equipment set-up
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills

- Experience with computer, audio, and AV networking
- Advanced knowledge of audio DSP technology

DSP Engineer - Adaptive Algorithms
BIAMP Systems is currently seeking a DSP engineer experienced in adaptive control systems to our development team.
Responsibilities:
- Developing novel solutions to our customer’s problems in teleconferencing, videoconferencing, and sound reinforcement applications.
- Designing, simulating, and implementing audio algorithms based on adaptive filters.
- Documenting the interface and design of DSP algorithms.
Requirements:
- MS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or similar discipline. PhD preferred.
- Experience in commercializing acoustic and/or line echo cancellation algorithms.
- Five or more years of DSP development experience in the Audio or Telecommunications industries.
- Advanced knowledge of varying adaptive filtering techniques.
- Fluent in C and C++ programming languages.
- Advanced working knowledge of MATLAB.
Desired Qualifications:
- Assembly programming and C-code optimization experience (SISD and SIMD).
- Experience using object-oriented design methodologies.
- Familiarity with Analog Devices SHARC processor cores.

Embedded Software Engineer - Brisbane, Australia
Biamp is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to design, implement, test, debug, and maintain embedded software for networked digital audio paging equipment and related accessory products.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyze new product functional requirements to determine required data structures and behaviors
- Create written documentation for embedded software designs
- Design and implement embedded software modules using C, C++, object oriented modeling, and standard design patterns and techniques
- Define test cases and write test automation which effectively validate module design
- Implement drivers and validation test suites for new custom digital hardware
- Work with Software Development Team to ensure interoperability between software and embedded software components

BIAMP Systems is looking for a highly motivated Embedded Software Engineer with 7+ years of development experience in an embedded environment. A successful candidate will have strong design skills and experience building complex embedded applications in C/C++. Development experience should be well rounded with expertise in VoIP technology.

Marketing Communications Director
The primary objective of the position is to effectively develop and manage global corporate and product marketing communications. This position is responsible for delivering a high level of performance with regard to the delivery of marketing messaging, creativity, brand building, sales tools, asset development, and corporate image. The Marketing Communications Director will have a proven history of developing strategies, executing well-reasoned tactical plans, and managing and developing a talented internal team of marketing professionals. The Marketing Communications Director will be experienced in the effective management of outside agencies, will have experience in foreign markets, and will have an appreciation for the range of diverse marketing requirements they represent. This position will report to a senior level executive, and will work in very close partnership with Sales and Product Management teams.
Responsibilities include:
Develops short- and long-range marketing strategies, objectives, campaigns, programs, and initiatives in support of the business plan, and in conjunction with Sales and Product Management
- Manages goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets, as they relate to the marketing communications department and staff
