Corporate campuses, universities, and other large organizations can sprawl across huge parcels of land.
Networked audio and paging are ideal options for these properties. Biamp's networked media systems are flexible enough to serve rooms of all types, including lecture halls, huddle rooms, and meeting spaces. Our solutions are interoperable, allowing you to pass audio such as background music from one system to another. In large facilities like a corporate or university campus, you can run multiple solutions simultaneously, maintaining pace with rigorous daily schedules and special events. Tesira and Vocia can work together as one system, combining features to provide unmatched audio quality while leveraging hardware across platforms to reduce overall equipment costs.
Vocia is EN 54-16 certified, and provides campus-wide paging and critical paging functions, as well as zoned paging to deliver information only to designated rooms or areas. A decentralized networked media system using Biamp's Vocia family places DSP at all of the endpoints, rather than routing all signals through a single point, so there is no single point of potential system failure. That means if any device fails, the system will continue to function normally, which is vital in times of emergency. In a hybrid system that includes both Vocia and Tesira devices, Vocia can override Tesira equipment in enclosed spaces like classrooms and conference rooms to broadcast critical pages during emergency situations.
With easy upgrades and hardware replacements, this system can grow along with your campus, and can be expanded or altered as new buildings are constructed or existing structures are repurposed.
