The National Music & Sound Credit Association announced the appointment of Dennis McClure as president of the association. McClure is currently Credit Manager at Oregon-based Biamp Systems, a leading international provider of professional installed audio electronics. The National Music & Sound Credit Association, a division of Riemer Reporting Service, is comprised of manufacturers and exclusive national distributors who sell music and sound equipment to the professional market.
"We are delighted that Dennis is expanding his portfolio of accomplishments by taking on this leadership role," said Jerry Payette, VP of Finance, Biamp Systems. "Dennis is experienced with the challenges of managing and leading others, and this expertise will certainly be valuable in this new role."
As president of the National Music & Sound Credit Association, Dennis McClure will attend and lead three group meetings each year, solicit speakers and topics for of these meetings, and select and vote on new prospective members. In his current role at Biamp, McClure's main responsibilities include setting up new deal accounts, the monitoring of all shipping activities, maintaining customer credit limits and terms of service, and effectively controlling every order that leaves the factory. In addition to these responsibilities that Biamp deems essential to daily operations, McCLure has also successfully limited all Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) to 25 days, which is among the industry's best.

The next National Music & Sound Credit Association meeting will be held in Portland, OR on September 18th, 2009.
