Biamp Systems Adds New Technical Support Engineer

Biamp Systems, a leading international provider of professional installed audio electronics, today announced the addition of Christopher Flanagan as a Product Application Specialist in the Technical Support Group. In this position, Flanagan will be responsible for helping Biamp's customers in the design and implementation of the company's networkable product lines, namely Audia® and Nexia™. He brings more than seven years of professional audio and video design and installation experience and specializes in networking new connectivity products.

"Chris' wealth of experience really strengthens and expands the value that our technical support team is capable of providing," said Matt Czyzewski. "Our current technical team is great and frequently receive very positive customer feedback. But we're experiencing a growing need for networking specialists and Chris will fill this role nicely."

Before joining Biamp Systems, Flanagan worked as an AV design engineer and installation manager for Summit Solutions, Inc. In this position, Flanagan supervised a staff of technicians and programmers and was responsible for designing various AV communication systems and approving new products. Prior to that, Flanagan worked as a mechanical engineer for Bechtel National, Inc.

Flanagan joined Biamp Systems in early December 2004. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah and recently relocated to the Portland, OR area from Levenworth, KS.
