Biamp tackles 24-Hour Tech Support: Names Bonsoir as EMEA Specialist

Underscoring its commitment to providing customers with a comprehensive, worldwide support network, Biamp today introduced Martin Bonsoir as the new addition to its technical support team. The announcement, made at ISE 2007, means that Biamp customers can now reach a technical support engineer at any hour in the day, regardless of their country and time zone.

Based out of London, Bonsoir will oversee technical support operations for customers in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, as well as other regions as needed. In his new role with Biamp, Bonsoir will report to Kiley Henner, Biamp's Technical Support Manager.

Commenting on the announcement, Henner said, "With the addition of Bonsoir, Biamp customers never have to worry about being able to reach a support specialist live. We continue to see a tremendous amount of innovative projects across all of Europe, as well as in Africa and the Middle East, and we are extremely excited to provide these customers with a dedicated support team for the quickest response possible. Martin's extensive industry experience makes him perfectly qualified for this vital position in our support team and his meticulous attention to system design and engineering will be immediately apparent to our customers on a daily basis. This, coupled with his amiable personality, makes Martin a perfect selection for Biamp and for this exciting new position."

Bonsoir comes to Biamp after serving as the Head of Engineering for Marquee Audio Ltd in Middlesex, UK. At Marquee Audio Ltd, Bonsoir oversaw the company's technical policy and health and safety regulations compliance; managed the company's design and programming for Audio DSP-based systems as well as control and automation systems; and managed all internal and customer training. Throughout his career, Bonsoir has also worked as an engineer for live sound companies, pro audio companies and recording/studio companies.
