Biamp Expands Training Program Through India

BEAVERTON, Oregon — Biamp Systems, a leading provider of innovative, networked media systems, announces the expansion of its training program to include more options and a wider range of AV topics specifically for the India market.

Biamp is known worldwide for its superior certification training programs that educate customers on how to gain the most from Biamp products, as well as teaching them where and how Biamp products can best be utilized – often in larger and complex installations.

Biamp training comes in three convenient delivery formats:

  1. Biamp Certification Training – Product-specific, in-person courses that cover Audia®, Nexia®, Vocia®, and Tesira® products. The classes are held in the Beaverton, USA headquarters training facility, Amsterdam, Mumbai, and Bangkok. They last from two to four days depending on the product. Classes can be registered for by visiting the training page.

  2. Biamp Webinars – The newest format of training is Biamp's virtual classes. Topics cover information from the basic principles of audio to advanced Nexia-specific topics. These are available by visiting Biamp's online training page.

  3. Biamp Online Videos – Available since April 2012, topics are provided in a video format and cover a wide range of information from the basic principles of audio to advanced Nexia topics. Each class covers a specific topic and lasts a few hours. These are ideal for those who are new to the Nexia product family, are looking for an audio refresher course, or are just interested in learning about a given topic. They are available on Biamp Systems Training YouTube channel.

As 2013 progresses, Biamp will be rolling out one-day, in-person courses that cover a widening spectrum of information from the basic principles of audio to advanced Nexia topics. These one-day courses will be held in Mumbai, New Delhi, and Bangalore.

"Biamp is excited about rolling out more training options. Customers continue to request more ways to gain Biamp's training. We believe this will offer flexible options to learn at all interest levels and across multiple locations,” says Kevin Jacobson, Global Training Manager at Biamp Systems. “These classes are for those new to our DSP products all the way to Audia, Vocia, and Tesira Certification. By providing both online and hands-on training, we're offering the best of both worlds."
