New Qt X Sound Masking Self-Paced Training Sessions Now Available

We're excited to announce that new Cambridge Qt X online training sessions are now available, giving partners and teams role-based, self-paced learning paths for our industry-leading sound masking solutions.

Four learning tracks are now live, each with a Level 01 foundational course and a Level 02 advanced course:

Design Training

Level 01: Introduces sound masking principles, acoustic concepts, and the four keys to effective sound masking (1-2 hours)
Level 02: Covers best practices for zoning, speaker spacing, compliance-driven design, and writing performance-based specifications. Prerequisite: Design Level 01 (1-2 hours)

Audience: Designers and consultants responsible for sound masking system layouts and specifications.

Field Engineer TrainingM

Level 01: Introduces sound masking principles, acoustic concepts, and the four keys to effective sound masking (1-2 hours)
Level 02: Hands-on configuration of Qt X systems via the Web Interface and Qt X Software, including a real-world multi-floor project. Prerequisite: Field Engineer Level 01 (2-3 hours)

Audience: AV integrators, field engineers, technical staff, and contractors involved in installation and system setup.

Technician Training

Level 01: Introduces the fundamentals of speech privacy and sound masking, comparing direct-field and indirect approaches and covering key design considerations (1-2 hours)
Level 02: Installation best practices for Qt X 300/300D, 600/600D, 800/800D, and 805/805D controllers, emitters, and loudspeakers, plus troubleshooting techniques. Prerequisite: Technician Level 01 (3 hours)

Audience: AV integrators, installation technicians, field engineers, and contractors deploying Qt X systems.

Solutions Advisor Training

Level 01: Explores the need for speech privacy, the impact of modern architecture on acoustics, and sound masking fundamentals (1-2 hours)
Level 02: Builds consultative selling skills—identifying opportunities, uncovering pain points, positioning Qt X differentiators, demonstrating solutions, and closing deals. Prerequisite: Solutions Advisor Level 01 (1-2 hours)

Audience: Sales professionals, account managers, and solutions advisors.

Each course includes a graded quiz to complete the track.
