Rashid is the President, CEO and Co-Chairman of Biamp. He joined the company with the acquisition by Highlander Partners. Prior, Rashid served as President and CEO of AMX beginning in 2005. During his 15-year tenure at AMX, the company’s revenue and employee base grew rapidly through organic product expansions and nine global acquisitions.
Before joining AMX, Rashid was vice president and general manager of Nortel Networks Broadband Wireless Access (BWA). He joined Nortel when the company acquired Broadband Networks Inc. (BNI), where he served as executive director.
Matt Czyzewski is the Executive Vice President of Technology for Biamp. He joined the company in 1996 and during his tenure, led the product development for Biamp’s award-winning Audia and Nexia DSP product lines, championed adoption of AVB as Tesira’s transmission protocol, developed new business partners and opportunities, and has contributed significantly to the overall growth of Biamp. Matt is a member of IEEE, AES, and serves as the Biamp representative for PAMA. In his spare time, Matt is an avid golfer.
Graeme Harrison has worked for Biamp Systems for 25 years. He first started as the company’s regional manager in Europe, serving Europe as well as the Middle East, Africa, and India. He later transitioned to international sales manager, followed by vice president of international sales, and is now the Executive Vice President of Marketing. Actively involved with TED (Technology Entertainment and Design), Graeme is also passionate about food, wine, and traveling, as well as environmentalism and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Ron Camden is the Vice President of Global Sales and has almost 30 years of experience working in AV technologies. As a recognized leader in the industry, he’s passionate about sharing innovations and identifying trends. In addition to his position at Biamp, Ron is heavily involved with InfoComm International. As a principal voice in AV technology issues, Ron has put issues of building safety and sustainability in the spotlight. He is also a valuable resource for those experiencing the AV/IT convergence. A graduate of Oregon State University, he’s a rabid Beavers fan.
Alex Buchanan-Munro is the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Biamp Systems. He joined Biamp in early 2008 as Chief Financial Accountant. Prior to this, he served as Controller for other high tech manufacturers, including Applied Materials and BOC Edwards. Originally a native of Brighton, England, he earned a Bachelor of Arts honors degree in accounting and finance from the University of Brighton and is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). He is also an avid runner, soccer fan and player, and guitarist.
With more than 25 years of engineering experience, David Barton joins Biamp Systems as Vice President of Innovation and Technology. Before joining Biamp, David held engineering and research and development management positions at multiple technology companies including Intel, Hewlett-Packard, and his own professional media processing and cloud services startups. David enjoys speaking on topics from machine learning to public education and, as an avid athlete, is committed to well-being and balance both personally and at work.
