All conference rooms at Blue Water Shipping’s new headquarters are equipped with HD projectors or screens with associated PC, which is hidden in the ceiling. Each room has its own touch panel, controlled by Biamp's Neets Control – SieRRa. When entering the room, the light turns on to: “Meeting session”, the ventilation is turned on, the window shades adjusted, the screens turn on along with the amplifier and PC – the conference room is ready to use immediately.
All rooms work the same way, no matter what conference room they are using.
The idea was to create an energy-efficient office building, without using air-conditioning units etc. A very advanced system (CTS) was installed, where sensors both outside and inside control the room temperature and windows open and close according to the wind direction. Furthermore, sun sensors (PIR) control the shading and automatically close if the sunrays are too high. The building has five floors and is divided into 60 zones. Each zone has its own music channel and level control.
