Virgin active Thailand recently opened their 2nd Bangkok branch, in the Emquartier shopping complex. The Richard Branson Virgin health club is located on the 4th floor of the new shopping mail. Emquartier is across sukhumvit rd from Emporium. Both malls have the same corporate owner, the mall group, which reportedly spent 20billion Thai baht (about $600 million us) on the new mall and renovating the existing Emporium.
Emquartier and Emporium have about 450,000 square meters of retail, several hotels, numerous restaurants, movie theaters and the largest man made waterfall in southeast asia. With 264 clubs in nine countries the “Emquartier fitness club” is a true flagship for the Virgin active group. Virgin active offers an amazing array of fitness options such as swimming & hydrotherapy pool, steam room, experience showers, ice room, Himalayan salt inhalation room, climbing wall, Pilates performer, power plate, sleeping pods, all kinds of yoga and the latest innovations in fitness equipment. In the complete project several Biamp speakers were used (CM20T - CM4T - CM5EH - CM6E - CM6T - MASK6T) enforced by multiple REVAMP4240T amplifiers.
