FIS Alpine Junior World Ski Championships
Hafjell, Norway, host of the FIS Alpine Junior World Ski Championships has been equipped with a new sound reinforcement system featuring Biamp's Community R Series loudspeakers. The original sound system, installed 20 years ago for the Lillehammer Winter Olympics, was beginning to show its age, so the Hafjell Nationalanlegg decided a replacement was in order. The investment is part of a major overall upgrade of the national slalom slope, financed by the Norwegian government.
The new audio system was specified to be designed for the highest quality for speech and music with the possibility of future expansion in mind. Biamp's R Series loudspeakers were chosen for this type of environment based on their reliability, coverage pattern, and outstanding audio quality as seen on other ski slopes across Norway.
