Sofia History Museum opened its permanent exhibition 17th September, 2015 officially. It is located in 1 Banski Sq (the former building of the Central Mineral Baths). The permanent exhibition can be seen in 8 different rooms which covered the period between 6th millennium BC up to 1940s. The rooms are as follows: Antiquity, The Strength of the Spirit, Links with European Dynasties, A Sofia Street, State and Municipal Institutions, Sofia Home and Clothing, Culture and Leisure.
Additionally, there can be seen two more rooms for temporary exhibitions. In order to provide the necessary sound quality in the museum over 130 speakers were used in this project. (60 x CM6E – 32 x SM6 – 6 x MASK2 – 30 x MASK6T – 5 x H10). Amplification is done with several CHAMP-4 amplifiers and music content is provided by four PC1000RMKII.
