The Thorn Sports Hall (Tüskecsarnok) in Budapest is a 4000 seats venue suitable for all kind of indoor sports, including ice-sports. Besides the big sports hall also 4 additional gyms, 2 warming-up halls, 35 dressing rooms and the huge indoor parking lot are equipped with Biamp loudspeakers.
The installer worked with Biamp in the past for several other projects and therefore proposed our loudspeakers for this project. Designing the audio system for the big hall with 4000 seats was the most critical part of the project. As the installer is a fan and he already used MPLT62-G horn loudspeakers in other big projects, these loudspeakers were used for the audience tribunes in combination with OVO8T cabinet speakers. In the hallways and dressing rooms 165 pieces of SM6-W cabinet speakers were installed as these have quick-fit cable clamps for quick and easy installation.
