EasyConnect MPX 250 firmware 1.3 is now available, introducing API control for deeper room automation integration in modern meeting spaces.

With this update, integrators can control EasyConnect MPX 250 switching through Biamp Control and third-party control systems, making it easier to create polished, intuitive room experiences that feel simple for users and flexible for administrators.

Firmware 1.3 enables more connected room automation workflows by allowing control systems to request MPX 250 status information and send switching commands directly to the device. Integrators can use these capabilities as part of broader room logic, coordinating BYOM mode changes with lighting, shades, projector screens, displays, and other room systems.

The update also gives meeting users the ability to switch modes directly from a room controller, creating a smoother in-room experience while giving integrators more flexibility to build customized control environments.

In addition, Workplace Tools 1.2.0 now supports setup, connection, monitoring, and management of EasyConnect MPX 250 devices. This gives integrators and support teams a more streamlined way to configure and maintain MPX 250 deployments through the same Workplace Tools environment used across supported Biamp devices.

EasyConnect MPX 250 firmware 1.3 and Workplace Tools 1.2.0 are available now, bringing smarter automation, simpler management, and more connected control to both new and existing MPX 250 deployments.
