Workplace Designer now includes expanded support for BMA 360D ceiling-tile microphones and the Devio UCX platform, making it easier to plan, standardize, and document complete collaboration spaces in Biamp Workplace.

Devio UCX platform support

Workplace Designer also now supports the Devio UCX platform, including all three UC compute devices and their supported peripherals, such as microphones and amplifiers. This update enables more complete room planning for Devio UCX deployments, including calculations for conferencing bars with expansion microphones and speakers.

By bringing Devio UCX into the Workplace Designer workflow, teams can design more complete conferencing systems from a single environment, helping simplify planning, improve consistency, and support scalable room standardization across an organization.

End-to-end support for BMA 360D

Workplace Designer now supports BMA 360D throughout the full design workflow, giving users the same guided experience available for other Biamp microphones. This includes automatic model selection based on ceiling tile configuration, quantity and position calculation, coverage planning, equipment table calculation, and bundle selection when applicable.

With BMA 360D support built directly into Workplace Designer, users can more easily plan microphone placement, validate coverage, and generate complete design documentation for rooms that use Biamp ceiling-tile beamforming microphone technology.
