Over the summer, customers in higher education have accelerated upgrades to their audiovisual and IT systems to prepare for remote and hybrid curriculums this fall. At Biamp, we’re focused more than ever on providing solutions and training resources that empower our channel partners focused on the education market.

Additional Installation Options for Desono Pendants

Our Desono pendant loudspeakers offer full-range music reproduction in distributed audio applications, making them ideal for retail and hospitality environments. Unique to Desono pendants is Magic Cable, a composite cable specifically designed to reduce installation time. Comprised of two aircraft cables, two audio cables jacketed separately, and two ripcords for slicing through the cable jackets, Magic Cable is pre-terminated inside the P6 and P6-SM pendants to ensure there's no exposed connections at the loudspeaker.

Now we’ve made it even easier to install our Desono pendants in challenging environments with the release of several accessories:

Desono MC-250: 250-foot (75m) spool of Magic Cable, available in black or white
Desono MC-PHK16-12PK: 12-packs of pendant hang kits, available in all-black or all-white. Each individual kit includes 16 feet (5m) of Magic Cable and all required hardware for audio and structural connections.
Desono MC-SK10: 10-packs of inline splice kits for Magic Cable, available in all-black or all-white. Each individual kit includes all required hardware for audio and structural cable splices.
