Biamp Celebrates 50 Years of Innovation with Title Sponsorship of the 2026 Biamp Portland Jazz Festival

BEAVERTON, Ore. Biamp, a leading supplier of professional audiovisual solutions, is proud to announce its continued title sponsorship of the 2026 Biamp Portland Jazz Festival, presented by PDX Jazz. This year’s sponsorship holds special significance as Biamp celebrates its 50th anniversary—a half-century journey that began in Portland and has grown into a global legacy of audio innovation.

The 23rd Annual Biamp Portland Jazz Festival will take place March 5–14, 2026, featuring more than 50 performances across 30+ venues throughout the city. The festival will showcase an impressive lineup led by St. Vincent (Annie Clark), whose bold fusion of rock, art pop, and improvisation epitomizes the festival’s expanded artistic vision. Gospel legend Mavis Staples, acclaimed vocalist Madeleine Peyroux, and the Bill Frisell Trio are among the featured artists, alongside MonoNeon + Mohini Dey, Tigran Hamasyan, Charlie Hunter Trio, and many more.

"We're thrilled to sponsor the Portland Jazz Festival in our 50th anniversary year. Our legacy has always been about amplifying musicians and bringing sound to life in venues—long before we pioneered professional AV solutions, we were amplifying bands like The Kingsmen in local Portland clubs," said Rashid Skaf, Biamp President, CEO, and Co-Chairman. "For five decades, we've been driven by the belief that amazing sound connects people, whether at the Portland Jazz Festival or anywhere sound brings us together."

The Biamp partnership with PDX Jazz reflects the company’s deep commitment to the Portland arts community and its mission to connect people through exceptional audiovisual experiences. As the festival’s title sponsor, Biamp enables PDX Jazz to present world-class performances while nurturing local talent and fostering music education throughout the region.

This year’s festival will honor Shirley Nanette as the 2026 Portland Jazz Master and feature the debut of Stumptown Sirens Jazz Orchestra, Portland’s first all-female big band. The festival will also present the 2026 First Call Artist Showcase featuring Charlie Brown III, celebrating the artistry and collaboration that define Portland’s music scene. Local favorites including Blue Cranes, Dreckig, Shelly Rudolph, Alan Jones Trio, and Foamboy will round out the diverse lineup.
