Biamp had an exciting and successful week at InfoComm,
connecting with customers, partners, and industry professionals from around the
world. This year’s show was especially meaningful as we continued celebrating 50
years of Biamp innovation while showcasing the solutions shaping our next chapter.
Attendees experienced the latest advancements across collaboration, sound
reinforcement, sound management, and Biamp Workplace, including new technologies
designed to make spaces easier to design, manage, and use.
Product highlights included Devio UCX, the new
Android-based UC compute platform that brings conferencing compute, DSP, and control
together in one scalable solution; enhanced VenuePolar plugin for EASE® Focus 3 that
unleashes the full potential of the LVH-900 fully steerable venue horn, putting
precise, custom coverage at integrators' fingertips; Workplace Control, a unified
platform for designing, deploying, and managing room control experiences; BMA 360D
ceiling microphones with expanded Tesira integration and deployment options; and
Evoko Liso, now cloud-connected through Biamp Workplace, giving organizations a
seamless path to migrate existing on-premises room scheduling deployments to the
cloud without replacing hardware.
Devio UCX brings together UC compute and DSP in a single
Android-based solution that runs Microsoft Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms. It's also the
first Biamp product built on the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP).
With flexible peripheral integration and all-in-one room
bundles, Devio UCX scales easily from huddle spaces all the way up to larger
conference rooms.
Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms certification has arrived for this next-generation ceiling microphone array. Backed by advanced beamforming and full Tesira integration, plus Workplace Designer compatibility, the BMA 360D is built for deployments that are quicker and more consistent across rooms.
With
Auditorium Mode, presenters connect with a single cable, and content automatically
distributes to the main display, up to 200 participant devices, and up to six
Android Smart Displays. It's enabled through a one-time license per device.
Two new
apps round out the update: the MAX App for Android, for native participant
connection with no browser needed, and the MAX Display App for Android, which
turns any Android Smart Display or TV dongle into a dedicated content
screen.
