Highlighting the importance of a knowledgeable and hard working dealer network in a quickly converging AV world, Biamp recognized its most outstanding distributors for the year of 2006 at the recent ProLight+Sound Expo in Frankfurt. Graeme Harrison, Vice President of International Sales, Biamp, acknowledged the recipients' understanding of the AV market and their collective drive to provide superior service and support to Biamp customers.

The awards, announced during this year's Prolight+Sound show in Frankfurt Germany, are divided into regions and subdivided within each region: Distributor of the Year and Most Improved Distributor. In considering the winners, actual sales, sales increase and market share are all taken into consideration. The award recipients are as follows:
Europe West: Distributor of the Year – beyerdynamic, UK; Most Improved Distiributor – Standard Audio, Sweden. Europe East: Distributor of the Year – Aris Pro, Russia; Most Improved Distributor – Sincom, Serbia & Montenegro.
