BEAVERTON, Oregon — Biamp Systems, a leading provider of innovative, networked media systems, will showcase the latest advancements within its network media solutions portfolio at GITEX Technology Week, Oct. 8-12 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Technology and IT professionals visiting the FVC Inc. stand (Z-H12) will see Biamp’s TesiraLUX™, the AVB-based, 4K video streaming solution within the innovative Tesira® audio and video platform, as well as the Devio® collaboration tool for the modern workplace.
"Until recently, the network has not delivered the functionality or performance modern audiovisual expectations demand,” said Dave Nazir, Biamp’s regional manager for Middle East and Africa. “The launch of TesiraLUX in the Tesira platform changes that. GITEX Technology Week is the perfect backdrop for attendees to experience live demonstrations of the only network AV solution that offers a fully integrated platform for both audio and video processing.”
At the show, Biamp will feature Tesira, the world’s only integrated networked audio and video platform. Loaded with advanced audio and video processing capabilities — all of which are designed and commissioned from a single software platform — the system saves technology and IT professional time and resources. The Tesira product family includes TesiraLUX, which introduces low-latency, 4K-networked video capabilities to the ecosystem through the addition of an AVB/TSN-enabled video encoder (TesiraLUX IDH-1) and decoder (TesiraLUX OH-1). This groundbreaking solution allows for both audio and video signals to be transported over a single network through the reliability of AVB/TSN. The result is visually lossless transmissions, while using the available network bandwidth in the most efficient manner. The rest of the products in the Tesira platform will also be on display, allowing professionals to experience the flexible capabilities and options available within the system that make it suitable for a wide array of installation environments, meeting today’s IT requirements.
Biamp will also display its Devio collaboration tool designed for huddle rooms and other small meeting spaces. With a single USB connection, Devio connects a laptop instantly to the room’s displays, speakers, microphone, and web camera, allowing meetings to get up and running quickly. Bundled with the Devio CR-1 base unit is a choice of either the DCM-1 ceiling or the DTM-1 tabletop beamforming microphone. Both microphones feature three 120-degree zones for full 360-degree audio coverage, and track and intelligently mix conversations from around the room. Boasting Biamp's well-known acoustic echo cancellation technology, the system diminishes echo and feedback, while dynamically monitoring the room to eliminate unwanted background noise. Ideal for busy tech and IT managers, the platform's Auto Setup automates audio input and output levels — reducing installation time and ensuring remote participants can hear and be heard. Devio can be managed centrally using its software administration utility (SAU) or via SNMP, plus firmware and configurations can be mass deployed.
