In an effort to further expand support for its customer base and ensure that Spanish-speaking integrators are fully Audia® trained, Biamp has successfully completed its first Learning Center certification course to be taught entirely in Spanish. With the announcement, the Learning Center is even more accessible to customers from around the globe. It is a move that Steve Metzger, Director of Business Development, Biamp Systems, explains is absolutely necessary.
"So many of our integrators and dealers from around the world need to be Audia certified, but haven't been able to participate in our classes in Beaverton because of language barriers," Metzger explains. "Now we can host an entire Spanish speaking class here in our Learning Center covering all of the same programming and design fundamentals taught in our Audia certification courses throughout the year. We are extremely fortunate to have a talented core group of technical people who are both experts with Audia and fluent speakers of other languages." The weeklong Audia class was the first to be taught entirely in Spanish. Course instructors included Martin Bonsoir and Claudio Berstein, both tech support specialists with Biamp, as well as Hernan Rame, Biamp's Regional Manager for Latin America.
Biamp's Learning Center offers a dynamic training environment for those who want to become Audia certified and for those already certified but want to learn more about AudiaFLEX, its broad input and output versatility, AudiaSOLO, TrueSound™, AEC-2HD and the latest software features and enhancements. Learning Center courses are offered year-round in Beaverton and are taught by Biamp technical support specialists and engineers. Participants who complete a four-day course receive Audia certification and earn 11 renewal units (RUs) toward ICIA certification. Biamp's next all-Spanish Audia Training classes will be held February 11 – 14 and July 21 - 24, 2008. Due to the high demand for Audia Training, Biamp is now booking Audia training sessions for 16 students each session starting on August 13, 2007.
