BEAVERTON, Oregon — Biamp Systems, a leading international provider of professionally installed audio systems, announced today at InfoComm 2010 its latest addition to their line of controls: the Remote Ethernet Device Flush Mount (RED-1F), a graphical, programmable flush-mounted remote control.
RED-1F is an Ethernet-enabled remote control panel for Audia® and Nexia® systems that provides an intuitive interface for end users and can be easily installed and configured to fit the unique requirements in a variety of applications. The RED-1F remote control features an easy-to-read OLED screen in a version that is flush with the wall for a sleek, easy-to-use interface.
The device features a touch capacitive scroll wheel, is PoE (Powered-over-Ethernet) and connects via standard CAT-5/6/7 cabling, eliminating the need for custom cabling and local power sources. Additionally, Biamp Systems added ISO/IEC 8859-2 (Latin-2) and Thai fonts to the RED-1 product line and backs both versions of the control with a five-year warranty.
