BEAVERTON, Oregon — Biamp Systems, a leading provider of innovative, networked media systems, is pleased to announce the addition of Ernesto Montanez to the Global Sales Team as the new Central America Area Manager. Based in Mexico City, Montanez will report to Ron Camden, Vice President of Global Sales.
As the Area Manager for Central America, Montanez will oversee all sales and installations in the region. Joining us from his previous position as a Sales Manager with Bosch Security Systems, Montanez's expertise includes more than 15 years of working with international sales teams throughout Latin America.
Montanez has wide-ranging experience in the sourcing and promotion of audio systems including voice evacuation and public address systems, conferencing, and mission critical IP-based systems. He was able to increase the market share of DSP-based audio systems in Mexico, overseeing audio solutions for stadiums, convention centers, hospitals, airports, shopping malls, and offshore platforms. Montanez brings with him excellent relationships with key integration partners and end users in the region.
