BEAVERTON, Oregon — Biamp Systems, a leading provider of innovative, networked media systems, today announced the expansion of the company's product management team with the addition of Shell Haffner as Director of Product Management.
In his new role, Haffner is responsible for leading the product management team in formulating and implementing successful product development strategies to support Biamp's complete product portfolio. Haffner will direct Biamp's product development by identifying key customer needs, analyzing market trends, new product requests, and application solutions.

Haffner brings 20 years of experience in IT business to his new role, most recently serving as manager of worldwide product marketing for the entry products business unit at Xerox Corporation. He has previously held senior product marketing and management roles at companies such as Tektronix, Inc., Digital Mercury, Inc., and Merant, Inc. Haffner holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
