BEAVERTON, Oregon — Biamp Systems, a leading provider of innovative networked media systems, announced that the company was honored with several industry awards, including a Global Presence Alliance (GPA) Global Excellence Award, AV Technology Best of Show Award, and rAVe Readers’ Choice Award, at InfoComm 2014 in Las Vegas.

During the show, the GPA named Biamp Systems one of just six winners of the second Annual Global Excellence Awards, which recognize leading AV and UC manufacturers/vendors for their commitment to delivering superior value and exceptional customer experiences. The GPA surveyed members including executive, sales, and engineering personnel from 18 different countries to rate vendors in five categories: product innovation, technical support, sales and marketing programs, commercial flexibility, and commitment to global deployment and support programs. This marks the second consecutive year that Biamp Systems has achieved an “Excellence” rating.
Biamp Systems was also honored with a rAVe Readers’ Choice Award for Favorite Audio Company. rAVe publications’ readers, which include AV dealers, integrators, consultants, and designers, voted for their favorites via an online survey, and winners were announced the first day of InfoComm 2014.
TesiraFORTÉ, the centerpiece of Biamp Systems’ Tesira® family of digital signal processor (DSP)-based media systems, was named one of NewBay Media’s Best of Show winners by AV Technology magazine. The all-new TesiraFORTÉ is the market’s first series of audio processors to extend Audio Video Bridging (AVB) to application-specific settings. The Best of Show awards were judged by a panel of engineers and industry experts who considered criteria including ease of installation and use/maintenance, performance, relevance, value/ROI, network friendliness, versatility, and reliability. Winners were announced the final day of InfoComm.
Finally, the newly announced Lab.gruppen D Series amplifier platform, specifically the variant which leverages Biamp® Tesira DSP technology, was named a Best of Show winner by Sound & Video Contractor magazine.
