BEAVERTON, Oregon — Biamp Systems, a leading provider of innovative, networked media systems, today announced the unveiling of a service center located in Mumbai. As part of the company’s strategic expansion plans within the region, the facility will provide service and repairs under warranty for Biamp products in country — underlining the company’s commitment to the region’s growth and India’s position in the industry.
“The emergence of the Indian marketplace in the audio space creates several exciting opportunities,” said Robin Ghose, SAARC regional manager at Biamp Systems. “As we continue to invest in the region, our focus is on developing infrastructures that facilitate first-rate customer service. Opening an in-country service center is a natural extension for the growth of our Indian sales team.”
Effective immediately, customers located in India will no longer need to ship units out of country to access warranty repairs on Biamp products. Service will be offered directly from the center in Mumbai, managed by a team of Biamp application engineers. Biamp is known for its industry-leading 5-year warranty and for having one of the lowest failure rates in the industry. The center will provide the same level of service quality and automated testing offered at its Oregon headquarters in the USA. This commitment to exceptional service and support is a testament to the industry’s growth and Biamp’s focus toward today’s emerging markets.
