PDX Jazz Festival 2021 is Almost Here!

Biamp is proud to once again sponsor the annual PDX Jazz Festival, to be held February 18-27, 2021. This year, of course, will be a little different. The festival will be delivered via a hybrid model, with some performances streamed virtually and others to be held live and in-person. The opening night of this year’s festival, a performance by Pink Martini, will be livestreamed from Biamp world headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon, and will be free and open to the public. Learn more about this performance here.

PDX Jazz is the premier jazz organization in the Pacific Northwest, presenting performances and associated education programming throughout the year. The festival features 10 days of powerhouse performances from a wide variety of jazz musicians, from internationally-renowned masters to up-and-coming performers.

Crowd Mics' Latest Update: Auto-Approve Audience Participation

Whether in the same room as the presenter or across the globe, Crowd Mics allows live event attendees to use their phones as wireless microphones, text questions, and participate in polls, providing everyone with the same wonderful experience regardless of their location.

With our new Crowd Mics 2.3 update, moderators can now auto-approve participant requests to speak, streamlining event management even further. When enabled, participants can see where they are in the queue to speak and receive visual, audio, and haptic feedback when it’s their turn.

Crowd Mics is perfect for participants and moderators of presentations, lectures, panel discussions, or similar events ranging in size up to 1000 attendees.
