Training & Certification
COURSE OVERVIEW:
AUDIENCE: IT teams tasked with providing onsite support of audio/visual facilities but do not have a traditional A/V background. For example: IT managers or network systems professionals, in large/enterprise organizations, whose departments maintain their conference rooms and other AV enabled spaces where Biamp Tesira is installed.
COURSE GOAL: This course is delivered at the trainee’s location, which facilitates an understanding of their own unique Biamp installation and will help them become self-sufficient in supporting it. By learning about Tesira in the context of their own A/V system, the trainee can take ownership of the knowledge gained and put it to use effectively and immediately.
PREREQUISITES: There are no prerequisites for Biamp Specialist - Tesira training.
CONTINUING EDUCATION: 2.5 AVIXA RUs CTS/CTS-D/CTS-I.
TIME TO COMPLETE: One half-day (instructor-led).

AV System Basics
To set the foundation for understanding and manipulating any audio system we’ll cover some basics of a good sound system
and how the tools Biamp offers facilitate one.
The Control Network
Learn how your computer communicates with your Tesira system, and the specific topology in use in your own systems.
Audio Networking
Know which protocols are used to transfer audio across your Tesira system and how they work together.
Connecting and Partitions
Learn how to make successful connections to your Tesira system. This will open the door to performing maintenance, making small changes, and simplify any troubleshooting you need to do.
We’ll show you where to get current firmware, how to install it, and how you will benefit by upgrading.
Troubleshooting
Confidently fix minor problems, narrow down the root of an issue, make well informed decisions, and know when to escalate.
