Biamp Systems today announced an expanded commitment in support of Doing Business Better by increasing the investment in its most valued asset, its customers. Although Biamp has a long history of superior customer service and support, it is now introducing new programs and tools developed to ensure its customers' success.
Encompassing both products and services, Doing Business Better is aimed at strengthening partnerships with customers and the AV Industry, providing tools to win new business and create more profitable installations, finding new ways to sell, providing inspiration to look for new areas of opportunity, and promoting information exchange across the globe.

Doing Business Better Requires Efficient Products
Mini-Expanders Biamp Systems has the perfect solution in the search for efficiency: a line of mini expanders in a convenient—not to mention economical—half-rack format. They can be used to provide inputs or outputs to remote locations—for example, hidden under a conference table for microphones—or they can add scalability to a centralized Audia® system. All three components are CobraNet®-enabled, allowing for inputs and outputs to be distributed across the network, and the devices may be powered over Ethernet (PoE) or an external DC source. Moreover, they may also be used to provide additional inputs and outputs to other CobraNet compliant systems without paying for more than what's needed.
• The AudiaEXPI-4 input expander that accepts four mic/line analog audio inputs and provides four channels of digital audio output via CobraNet;
• The AudiaEXPO-4 output expander that accepts four channels of digital audio input via CobraNet and provides four mic/line-level analog audio outputs; and
• The AudiaEXPI/O-2 input/output expander that accepts two mic/line analog audio inputs, provides two channels of digital audio output via CobraNet, and accepts two channels of digital audio input via CobraNet, and provides two mic/line-level analog audio outputs.
VoIP-2 Card The VoIP-2 Card for AudiaFLEX allows you to take advantage of your customer's VoIP telephone system to save them even more money, as it enables conferencing over VoIP directly from AudiaFLEX, with two channels of VoIP interface per card. Now you can receive and initiate calls without the need for VoIP adapters, eliminating the need for extra equipment. Combined with the TI-2 Card and/or CODEC, the VoIP-2 Card lets you create redundancies within a conferencing system for multi-point conferences and/or back-up to VoIP lines. Additional advantages include: direct connectivity to SIP compliant VoIP call servers, and direct dialing and control of VoIP calls using daVinci software. The VoIP-2 Card makes AudiaFLEX the most powerful, flexible, and affordable telephone conferencing product available.
